Mage / Burst
Beginner Rule
Always check if Annie has her stun prepared before fighting.
Annie is a burst mage who can instantly punish enemies when her stun is prepared. She wants to combine Pyromania (Passive) — her stun mechanic — with Summon: Tibbers (R) to quickly burst targets down. Many beginners forget to check Annie's stun before looking for trades.
Level 6 – Tibbers gives massive burst damage.
First Item – Can quickly burst squishy targets.
Flash Available – Engage threat increases dramatically.
Flash + Tibbers
Prepared stun
Brush ambushes
Burst combos
QWhat it does
Hurls a fireball dealing magic damage. Refunds the mana cost if it destroys the target.
How to play against
She can effectively spam Q for free while farming. Every Q builds her stun passive — back behind minions to block poke and deny stack building.
WWhat it does
Casts a cone of fire dealing magic damage in front of her.
How to play against
Short range cone. She uses this to quickly build passive stacks. Don't let her get close range casts in — step back when she faces you.
EWhat it does
Grants herself or an ally a shield, burst of Move Speed, and deals retaliatory damage to enemies that hit the shielded target.
How to play against
Short duration. Wait for the shield to expire before trading. The retaliatory damage punishes attacking her or a shielded ally directly.
RWhat it does
Summons Tibbers dealing AoE damage on arrival. Tibbers then burns enemies who stand near him.
How to play against
Watch her stun counter — at 4 stacks her next ability stuns. Stun R combo is 4-stack stun then immediate bear landing. Back off when her passive is charged.
Flash → R → Q → W
Classic one-shot combo.
Stun Q → W
Quick burst trade.
R → Full Combo
Maximum damage all-in.

Pyromania: after casting 4 spells her next offensive spell stuns the target. Watch for the swirling sparks around her — that means the next ability stuns. Back off when you see stacks building.
