Tank / Battlemage
Beginner Rule
Don't stay in execute range when Cho'Gath has Feast (R) available.
Cho'Gath is a tanky frontliner who becomes stronger and larger throughout the game. He wants to land Rupture (Q) — his knock-up ability — before bursting enemies with Feast (R) — his execute ultimate. Many beginners stay in execute range and get surprised by how much damage Feast deals.
Level 6 – Gains powerful execute damage.
Stacked Ultimate – Becomes significantly tankier.
First Tank Item – Much harder to trade against.

Ultimate execute
Objective control
QWhat it does
Ruptures the ground at a target location popping enemies into the air, dealing damage and slowing. Clear visual ground indicator before eruption.
How to play against
Watch the circular indicator on the ground. You have about one second to step off it before the pop. Don't stand still anywhere near him.
WWhat it does
Unleashes a terrible scream in a cone dealing magic damage and silencing for several seconds.
How to play against
Medium-range forward cone. Don't stand in front of him. The silence is very long — back away when he faces you.
EWhat it does
Passively releases deadly spikes on attacks dealing damage and slowing enemies in front of him.
How to play against
Pure passive on-hit. Don't let him auto you in melee — the slow locks you in range for his Q.
RWhat it does
Devours an enemy dealing massive true damage. If killed, Cho gains permanent max Health.
How to play against
True damage execute — armour doesn't help. Never fight him near his execute threshold. The permanent HP stack makes him scarier every time he ults.
Q → W → E → R
Standard all-in combo.
Q → Team Follow-Up
Creates pick opportunities.
R Execute
Finishes low-health targets.

Carnivore: killing any unit restores Health and Mana. The amounts scale with his level. He sustains purely from farming — disrupt his CS to slow his regeneration.
