Assassin
Beginner Rule
Watch Ekko's shadow — it shows where Chronobreak (R) will return him if he activates it.
Ekko is a mobile assassin who looks for short trades before bursting targets down. He wants to trigger Z-Drive Resonance (Passive) and use Chronobreak (R) — his rewind ultimate — to escape or re-engage safely. Many beginners forget where Ekko's ultimate shadow is positioned.
Level 6 – Ultimate gives huge outplay potential.
First Item – Burst damage becomes threatening.
Two Items – Can quickly eliminate squishy targets.

Flanks
QWhat it does
Throws a temporal grenade that expands into a slow field on hitting a champion. Then rewinds back to him dealing damage on the return pass.
How to play against
Move out of the slow field — it enables his full combo. The grenade return can hit you twice if you stand between the field and him.
WWhat it does
Passive: bonus damage on low-HP enemies. Active: creates an anomaly circle that stuns enemies inside when he dashes through it.
How to play against
If you see the blue circle on the ground, move away from it. When he dashes through it anything inside gets stunned instantly.
EWhat it does
Rolls evasively while charging. His next attack deals bonus damage and teleports him to the target.
How to play against
His gap-close. After using it aggressively he has no escape dash. Punish that window with hard CC.
RWhat it does
Becomes untargetable and rewinds to his location from 4 seconds ago. Heals based on damage received in that window. Enemies near his arrival zone take massive damage.
How to play against
He'll be at a safer position from 4 seconds ago. Don't burst him near his arrival zone — it deals AoE damage. Chase toward where he was, not where he is.
E → Auto → Q
Standard trade combo.
W → E → Q → Passive Proc
Full burst setup.
R → Re-engage
Turns losing fights into winning ones.

Z-Drive Resonance: every third hit on the same target deals bonus magic damage. On champions it also gives him a burst of speed. He procs this in a Q-E-auto rotation — dodge his Q to deny the third-hit proc.
