Marksman
Beginner Rule
Punish Ezreal when Arcane Shift (E) — his blink ability — is unavailable.
Ezreal is a mobile marksman who wins fights through poke and positioning. He wants to repeatedly land Mystic Shot (Q) — his skillshot poke ability — while using Arcane Shift (E) to stay safe. Many beginners chase Ezreal too aggressively and get worn down over time.
First Item – Poke becomes much more reliable.
Muramana Completion – Significant damage increase.
Two Items – Strong mid-game carry potential.
Constant Q poke
Safe repositioning
Long-range ultimate
Objective fights
QWhat it does
Fires a bolt that reduces all cooldowns if it hits. This is his primary ability.
How to play against
His entire kit revolves around landing Q. Sidestep it consistently — it raises all his cooldowns when it misses, making him much less threatening.
WWhat it does
Fires an orb that sticks to the first champion or objective hit. If he hits you with another ability the orb detonates for bonus damage.
How to play against
After being marked dodge his Q — the detonation is significant extra burst.
EWhat it does
Teleports to a target nearby location and fires a homing bolt at the nearest enemy.
How to play against
His escape tool. When he uses E aggressively he has no escape for several seconds. Trade in that window.
RWhat it does
Fires a massive barrage across the entire map dealing huge damage. Reduced damage for minions/monsters.
How to play against
A slow-moving global skillshot. Sidestep perpendicular to its path. It's often used to clear waves rather than kill you, but watch your HP.
W → E → Q
Burst trade combo.
Q Spam → Poke Down
Core lane strategy.
R → Teamfight Follow-Up
Deals damage across multiple targets.

Rising Spell Force: hitting enemies with abilities grants stacking Attack Speed for a short time. He builds attack speed as he lands abilities — the more Q hits, the faster and more dangerous he becomes.
