Assassin
Beginner Rule
Fight Fizz after he uses Playful/Trickster (E) — his jump and escape ability.
Fizz is a burst assassin who looks for short trades until he can all-in. He wants to use Playful/Trickster (E) — his jump and escape ability — to avoid damage before re-engaging. Many beginners panic after Fizz uses E, when that's often the safest time to fight him.
Level 3 – Full trade pattern unlocked.
Level 6 – Chum the Waters creates kill pressure.
First Item – Burst damage becomes deadly.

QWhat it does
Dashes through the target dealing magic damage and applying on-hit effects.
How to play against
He needs to be in range to cast Q. Keep maximum distance — he needs to get close first.
WWhat it does
His attacks apply a magic damage bleed. Active empowers his next attack for bonus damage and prolonged bleed.
How to play against
Don't let him auto you repeatedly. The bleed stacks are his sustained damage in trades.
EWhat it does
Hops onto his spear becoming untargetable. Can slam straight down or jump again before landing.
How to play against
He's completely untargetable during E. Save your CC for when he comes down. He'll use it to dodge your key abilities.
RWhat it does
Throws a fish that attaches to the first champion hit. After a short delay a massive shark erupts knocking up the target and dealing AoE damage.
How to play against
Dodge the fish sideways — it's a slow, chubby projectile. If hit, run away from your teammates before the shark erupts.
R → Q → W → E
Standard assassination combo.
Q → Auto → W → E Out
Short trade pattern.
E Dodge → Re-engage
Avoids retaliation.

Nimble Fighter: Fizz takes reduced damage from basic attacks and ignores unit collision. He can walk through you freely — don't try to body-block him.
