Fighter / Diver
Beginner Rule
If Hecarim starts running at you with Devastating Charge (E) active, prepare to disengage.
Hecarim is a fast-moving fighter who excels at diving into fights and disrupting enemy backlines. He wants to build momentum through Devastating Charge (E) before engaging with Onslaught of Shadows (R). Many beginners underestimate how quickly Hecarim can reach them from off-screen.

QWhat it does
Cleaves nearby enemies dealing physical damage. Damage and cooldown improve on subsequent casts.
How to play against
He stacks Q damage rapidly in extended fights. Don't let him get 3+ Q stacks on you — back off after the second hit.
WWhat it does
Gains Armor/MR. Heals for a percentage of damage nearby enemies take from any source.
How to play against
His W healing scales with ALL damage enemies take nearby — including your allies' abilities. Anti-heal counters this.
EWhat it does
Charges forward with increasing Move Speed. Can move through units. His next attack deals bonus damage based on distance traveled.
How to play against
The longer his charge the harder the hit. Move diagonally — don't run directly away.
RWhat it does
Charges in a line dealing magic damage, then creates a shockwave causing nearby enemies to flee in terror.
How to play against
Fear causes you to run away uncontrollably. Don't group with teammates near him. Move off his charge line immediately.

Ghost → E Engage
Massive threat range.
R → Backline Dive

Warpath: he ignores unit collision and gains bonus Attack Damage based on his bonus Movement Speed. The faster he is the harder he hits — slow him and his damage drops.
