Assassin / Mage
Beginner Rule
Pressure Kassadin early — every minute he farms safely brings him closer to taking over the game.
Kassadin is a scaling anti-mage assassin who becomes increasingly dangerous as the game progresses. He wants to survive the early game before using Riftwalk (R) — his short-range teleport ultimate — to jump onto vulnerable targets. Many beginners fail to punish Kassadin early and allow him to reach his powerful late-game spikes.
Level 6 – Riftwalk unlocks mobility and kill pressure.
Rod of Ages / First Item – Becomes much harder to punish.
Level 11 – Riftwalk cooldown becomes significantly shorter.
Level 16 – One of the strongest late-game champions in League.

QWhat it does
Fires a void orb dealing damage, interrupting channels, and granting a magic shield.
How to play against
His Q interrupts any channel you cast. Don't try to channel near him. The magic shield makes him tankier against AP.
WWhat it does
Passive: bonus magic damage on autos. Active: bonus magic damage on next attack and Mana restore.
How to play against
His empowered auto does surprising magic damage. Don't let him freely auto-attack you.
EWhat it does
Draws energy from nearby spell casts. When fully charged deals damage and slows in a cone.
How to play against
The more abilities cast near him, the faster he charges his E. Don't ability-spam him — it accelerates his E.
RWhat it does
Teleports a short distance dealing AoE damage. Additional casts in a short time cost more mana but deal more damage.
How to play against
At level 16 he has essentially unlimited mobility within a huge radius. Stop extended-skirmish fighting near him at that level.
R → Q → W → E
Standard assassination combo.
R Stack → Full Burst
Maximizes damage through repeated teleports.
Flash → R → Full Combo
Surprise engage on carries.

Void Stone: takes reduced magic damage and gains a magic shield when he takes magic damage for a brief moment. He's a natural magic resist stacker. Don't go heavy AP damage early — he shrugs it off.
