Fighter / Juggernaut
Beginner Rule
Don't waste crowd control on Olaf during Ragnarok (R) — it won't stop him.
Olaf is a fighter who excels at running directly at enemies and winning extended fights. He wants to use Ragnarok (R) — his crowd control immunity ultimate — to ignore attempts to stop him and reach priority targets. Many beginners panic when Olaf activates his ultimate and waste crowd control.
Level 1-3 – Extremely strong early duelist.
Level 6 – Ragnarok removes crowd control weaknesses.
First Item – Sustained damage becomes difficult to handle.
Crowd control immunity
Axe slows
Extended fights
Early-game aggression
QWhat it does
Throws an axe dealing damage, reducing Armor and Move Speed. Picking up the axe resets the cooldown.
How to play against
Don't let him pick up his axes — they reset his cooldown. Chase him away from the axe or step on it yourself.
WWhat it does
Gains Attack Speed and a shield.
How to play against
His shield makes early trades painful. Wait for it to expire.
EWhat it does
Deals true damage to both himself and the target. Doesn't cost health if the target dies.
How to play against
True damage means armour doesn't help. Stay at range.
RWhat it does
Active: becomes immune to all disabling effects. Passive: gains bonus Armor and MR.
How to play against
Every single CC is wasted during his ult. Kite with terrain, not slows — slows are completely immune.
Q → Chase → Auto Attacks
Core trading pattern.
R → Run Down Target
Ignores crowd control.
Axe Pickup → Continue Fight
Maintains pressure.

Berserker Rage: gains bonus Attack Speed based on his missing health. The lower he gets, the faster he attacks. Don't try to attrition him — he gets stronger as he takes damage.
