Assassin
Beginner Rule
If Shaco is missing, assume he's looking for an ambush.
Shaco is a trickster assassin who excels at ambushes, deception, and punishing poor vision. He wants to appear unexpectedly using Deceive (Q) before bursting targets down. Many beginners lose because they underestimate how dangerous Shaco is when unseen.
Level 3 – Full gank combo unlocked.
First Item – Burst damage increases significantly.
Mid Game – Excels at picks and map pressure.

QWhat it does
Goes invisible and teleports. First attack while invisible critically strikes if attacking from behind.
How to play against
He'll Deceive behind you — keep your back against terrain. Always fight facing him after he goes invisible.
WWhat it does
Places a hidden Jack-in-the-Box that fears and attacks nearby enemies.
How to play against
Fear from boxes causes you to run uncontrollably. Clear boxes with AoE before they trigger.
EWhat it does
Passively poisons and slows on hit. Active: throws shivs dealing bonus damage to low-HP targets.
How to play against
Low HP means maximum shiv damage. Don't fight him below 30%.
RWhat it does
Creates an illusion of himself that attacks nearby enemies. On death spawns three Jack-in-the-Boxes.
How to play against
Don't chase the clone into a corner — the death-spawn boxes will fear you. Attack both versions and identify the real one.
Q → Auto → Full Combo
Standard assassination combo.
Trap Setup → Ambush
Punishes poor vision.
R → Clone Confusion
Creates outplay opportunities.

Backstab: Shaco deals bonus damage when attacking from behind. He's always looking for your back. Never have your back exposed to him.
