Tank / Juggernaut
Beginner Rule
Don't forget Sion can keep fighting after death through Glory in Death (Passive).
Sion is a tank who excels at starting fights and soaking damage. He wants to land Decimating Smash (Q) — his charged knock-up ability — before overwhelming enemies with crowd control and durability. Many beginners underestimate Sion's threat after death.
Level 6 – Ultimate creates strong engage opportunities.
First Tank Item – Durability increases significantly.
Mid Game – Excellent frontline and objective control.
Charged Q knock-ups
Ultimate engages
Passive zombie form
Side-lane pressure
QWhat it does
Charges a swing — longer charge deals more damage and knocks up. Short tap also deals damage.
How to play against
The full charge has the longest wind-up animation you've ever seen. Back away when he starts charging. Full charge stuns for a long time.
WWhat it does
Shields himself. After 3 seconds or on recast deals magic damage to nearby enemies. Passive: gains max HP from kills.
How to play against
The detonation has a wide range. Back away from him before the 3-second detonation.
EWhat it does
Fires a shockwave dealing damage, slowing, and reducing Armor. Minions can be knocked back into you.
How to play against
He knocks minions into you — they carry the shockwave's AoE. Back away from minions when he fires E.
RWhat it does
Charges forward ramping up speed. Crashes into enemies for damage and knockup based on distance traveled.
How to play against
He gains speed and is hard to stop. Sidestep — he has limited steering once charged up. Don't stand at the end of his charge path.
E → Q
Slows enemies and sets up an easier knock-up.
R → Q → Full Combo
Standard engage pattern that starts fights from long range.
Passive → Chase
Continues pressure after death and can secure kills.

Glory in Death: when Sion dies he becomes a zombie and can still fight briefly, draining health from enemies he hits. When he dies, back away — his zombie auto attacks drain your health.
