Tank / Enchanter
Beginner Rule
If Taric uses Cosmic Radiance (R), be ready to disengage until the invulnerability expires.
Taric is a defensive support who excels at protecting teammates and turning fights around. He wants to survive long enough to use Cosmic Radiance (R) — his delayed invulnerability ultimate — to swing teamfights. Many beginners continue fighting after Taric's ultimate is activated.
Level 6 – Ultimate can completely change fights.
First Support Item – Healing and durability improve.
Teamfights – Exceptional defensive utility.

Healing
QWhat it does
Heals nearby allied champions based on stored charges. Bravado-empowered attacks grant charges.
How to play against
His healing is reactive. Anti-heal counters him. He heals his support and his carry.
WWhat it does
Passively increases Armor for himself and linked ally. Active: links to an ally sharing his ability casts.
How to play against
His linked ally also casts all of Taric's abilities from their position. Abilities hit from two directions.
EWhat it does
Readies a beam — after a brief delay stuns enemies in a line.
How to play against
The delay gives you time to dodge. Back away when the beam indicator appears.
RWhat it does
Pulses invulnerability to nearby allied champions after a delay.
How to play against
The invulnerability has a cast delay — don't waste burst during the invulnerable window.
E → Stun → Follow-Up
Standard engage pattern.
R → Teamfight
Protects allies during fights.
Link Ally → Extend Range

Bravado: after casting an ability his next 2 basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and reduce his abilities' cooldowns. He quickly reduces cooldowns through his passive autos.
