Fighter / Skirmisher
Beginner Rule
Be careful fighting Yasuo in large minion waves — they give him many dash targets through Sweeping Blade (E).
Yasuo is a mobile fighter who excels at extended fights and punishing mistakes. He wants to use minion waves to dash repeatedly while building toward Last Breath (R) through knock-ups. Many beginners focus on Yasuo himself and ignore the minion wave he uses for mobility.
Level 6 – Ultimate unlocks huge all-in potential.

QWhat it does
Thrusts forward damaging in a line. Third cast (Gathering Storm) releases a knockup tornado.
How to play against
Watch his Q charge bar. The third Q is a tornado that travels forward — sidestep it. It moves slowly.
WWhat it does
Creates a wall that blocks all projectiles for several seconds.
How to play against
He blocks all your skillshots. Wait for the wall to expire. Physically walk through it — the wall only blocks projectiles.
EWhat it does
Dashes through a target unit. Can't dash to the same target twice quickly.
How to play against
He can't dash the same target twice consecutively. After he dashes through you there's a brief window before he can repeat.
RWhat it does
Blinks to an airborne enemy and suspends all nearby airborne enemies.
How to play against
Any knockup near him — from you, your allies, or his third Q — enables his ult. Don't get knocked up near him.
E Through Minions → Q Trade
Core lane pattern.
Tornado → R
Standard all-in combo.
Wind Wall → Fight
Blocks retaliation.

Way of the Wanderer: his critical strike chance is doubled. He also has a shield that activates after not taking damage briefly. He crits twice as often as his crit-item math suggests — respect his sustained damage.
