Marksman
Beginner Rule
Don't chase Zeri through long fights — she often becomes stronger the longer the fight lasts.
Zeri is a highly mobile marksman who excels at kiting and extended teamfights. She wants to constantly reposition while dealing sustained damage and stacking movement speed through Lightning Crash (R). Many beginners underestimate how difficult Zeri becomes to catch once she gets moving.

QWhat it does
Shoots a burst of 7 rounds at the first enemy hit. Treated as an attack.
How to play against
Her attacks proc everything — she fires 7 fast shots. Stay mobile; don't let her freely chain Q's.
WWhat it does
Fires an electric pulse slowing and damaging the first enemy hit. If it hits a wall it expands into a long-range laser.
How to play against
The wall laser has enormous range. Stay away from walls near her — the laser can reach across the lane.
EWhat it does
Dashes a short distance energising Burst Fire to pierce. Vaults over terrain on contact.
How to play against
She vaults over any terrain she touches. No wall stops her.
RWhat it does
Discharges electricity — on activation and gaining stacking Move Speed on champion hits.
How to play against
During R she gains compounding speed from hitting champions. Don't give her free hits — she snowballs her own movement speed.

R → Teamfight
Maximizes mobility and DPS.
Dash → Reposition → Continue DPS
Maintains safety.

Living Battery: when she damages a shield she gains Move Speed. When she gets shielded she gains movement. She gains speed from interacting with shields — don't put shields between her and you.
